A new American diner has brought a sprinkle of Hollywood glitz and glamour to Beverley’s thriving Flemingate centre.

Beverley Hills Diner & Bar brings a taste of star-studded Los Angeles to tinseltown’s namesake in East Yorkshire – with the local spelling!

The newly-opened venue offers an authentic taste of Los Angeles with classic Neapolitan-style pizzas, fresh pastas, premium steak burgers and mouth-watering street food.

The restaurant and bar is inspired by a modern US diner, with a subtle nod to mid-century America, and provides a family-friendly dining experience.

The diner is brought to Flemingate by 800 Club, the company behind two Hull venues – sports bar Kicks Bar & Grill in the city centre and Rise & Grind Bistro at Kingswood.

Lucas Billingham, a Director of Beverley Hills Diner & Bar, said: “We wanted to create a diner which offers quality, freshly-produced dishes in a relaxed, family environment.

“We looked at several sites in Beverley and it quickly became clear to us that Flemingate was the perfect location for what we’re trying to achieve.

“We’re thrilled to be open in Beverley, bringing a taste of the real Beverly Hills to customers. We promise once you step inside the diner, you won’t be able to tell the difference!”

Beverley Hills Diner & Bar is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a special cocktail menu available to evening customers. Each cocktail pays homage to classic Hollywood films and legendary US musicians, crafted by an award-winning mixologist.

Produce is sourced from local suppliers, with a focus on providing the freshest, high-quality ingredients.

The diner has teamed up with acclaimed ice cream artisans Mr Moo’s, with delightful creations from the East Yorkshire parlour included on the menu.

For those with a sweet tooth, Beverley Hills Diner & Bar will serve a selection of homemade waffles and pancakes, as well as ice cream milkshakes and sundaes.

Adding to the American ambience are a traditional jukebox, allowing customers to choose their favourite soundtrack, and a “jumbotron” showing an array of music videos on a big screen.

Beverley Hills Diner & Bar is the latest exciting addition to the Flemingate retail and leisure destination.

Flemingate is owned and operated by Hull-based commercial developer Wykeland Group and features a vibrant mix of leading national retail and leisure brands and local independents.

It is also home to East Riding College’s Beverley campus, an 80-bed Premier Inn hotel and six-screen Parkway cinema.

Beverley Hills Diner & Bar is open Monday to Thursday from 9am to 10pm, Friday and Saturday from 9am to midnight and Sunday from 9am to 9pm.
