Perfectly-grilled, flavoursome dishes will soon be on the menu at the Flemingate centre as Portuguese restaurant Casa Peri Peri arrives in Beverley.
Casa Peri Peri is being brought to Flemingate by the independent Yorkshire-based business behind Estábulo, the Brazilian grillhouse already well established as a foodies’ favourite at the centre.
Popular Portuguese flavours will fill a menu including mixed grill sharing platters, burgers, wraps and seasoned chicken.
For those with a milder palette, sauces range from mango and lime to BBQ and garlic. Adventurous souls craving a spicier kick can opt for the hot and extra hot sauce variations.
Casa Peri Peri will open soon, creating 20 jobs and joining a host of other attractive dining options at the thriving Flemingate centre.
Flemingate is owned and operated by Hull-based property development and management business Wykeland Group, which has secured another high-quality offering for East Yorkshire’s leading retail and leisure destination.
Zac Issak, owner of The Dabangg Group, which is bringing Casa Peri Peri to Flemingate, said: “We’re thrilled to be bringing our most popular Portuguese flavours to Beverley and can’t wait to open our doors to customers.
“Through our sister restaurant, Estábulo, we’ve been at the heart of Flemingate’s food scene for many years now and have seen the centre expand its offering of high-quality venues.
“We’re sure visitors to Casa Peri Peri will love our dishes, which are perfect for families and a broad range of diners.”
The word “casa” in latin translates as “house”, so Casa Peri Peri is, quite literally, a peri peri house.
Peri peri sauce was originally produced by the Portuguese in Southern Africa and has since become a popular global cuisine flavour.
Casa Peri Peri’s signature dishes include pulled beef burgers, a peri peri mixed grill platter and rice bowls with peri peri toppings.
Desserts on the menu range from an Oreo cheesecake and hot fudge brownie sizzler to classics including sticky toffee pudding and ice cream.
Casa Peri Peri will become the newest culinary arrival at Flemingate, hot on the heels of American-themed diner Beverley Hills Diner & Bar which opened in July.
David Donkin, Property Director at Wykeland Group, said: “The forthcoming opening of Casa Peri Peri at Flemingate builds on a successful relationship we’ve had with Zac and the team at Estábulo for a number of years now.
“We were delighted to hear of their ambitions to open another restaurant at Flemingate and Casa Peri Peri is a perfect fit for the centre.
“We’d like to send our best wishes to all of the team at Casa Peri Peri for their opening. We know diners in Beverley and beyond will be looking forward to another exciting addition to the food and drink options at Flemingate.”
The Dabangg Group is a growing Yorkshire-based hospitality business, which also operates the original Casa Peri Peri in Wakefield; Japanese/Brazilian tapas restaurant SakkuSamba; British brasserie Fléur Restaurant; and IKARO, a high-end restaurant and late night bar which will open soon in Manchester.
Casa Peri Peri will be sharing more details, including opening times and how to book, via its website.
