Event Details
Middle Child is bringing their new outdoor show to the top floor of Flemingate multi-storey car park 12th-15th June. Biting Point, electrifying new theatre about road rage, performed on top of a car park with views across Beverley. Written by Sid Sagar, this is a story about the communities we belong to and how the constant pressure we’re all under can turn us into people we don’t want to be.
How can we be good in a world that makes us so angry?
Supermarket driver John and property manager Anita spend their working days in Hull’s endless traffic, each trying to keep a step ahead of modern life.
Driven wild by substitute tomatoes and dodgy plumbing, tensions erupt when they collide on a busy roundabout, with devastating consequences.
Biting Point is a brand-new play about road rage, performed on top of a car park with views across Hull. It mixes live theatre with original music and sound design, experienced through headphones.
This is a story that asks big questions about class, race and anger in Britain today. It’s about the communities we belong to and how the constant pressure we’re all under can turn us into people we don’t want to be.
