These terms and conditions relate to your application to participate in the singing talent search, Flemingate Future Star. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before submitting your application.
1. The competition is organised and promoted jointly by Wykeland Beverley Ltd (the “Company”) trading as Flemingate and East Yorkshire Broadcasting Ltd (the “Company”) trading as Beverley FM.
2. If you are under 18 years old, you must obtain the consent of parent(s) or legal guardian(s) to enter. Successful entries will be required to enter their details on the application form for continue the process.
3. If you are under 16 years of age you must be accompanied by your parents or legal guardians to perform if you win.
4. In all cases, decisions of the judges are final and will not be open to discussion.
5. Absolutely no profanity or insensitive subject matter will be permitted.
6. Costumes/outfits must be appropriate for all age groups.
7. You confirm that if you are successful in your audition, I will be available Friday 17th November 2023 between 4.30-7.30pm to perform at Flemingate in Beverley.
8. The Company (or other such company as chosen by the Company) will film and record the winning performance at the event. You agree to the use of this material by the Company for marketing and promotional purposes. Photographs and video will be used in print and on the web, including social media.
9. Any backing tracks or musical instruments that are required for your performance if you win will need to be supplied by you, which you will bring along with you.
10. In the event that you perform any music and/or lyrics which are composed and/or written by you, then you declare they are wholly original, they do not infringe the rights of any third party nor any statutory rights in any material.
11. All personal details and/or information given in your application must be truthful, accurate and in no way misleading.
12. The prizes are as stated, and no cash alternative will be provided.
13. You acknowledge and agree to abide fully by the rules, regulations, terms and conditions for this competition and agree to observe all procedures and obey all reasonable instructions in connection with the competition.
14. Data Protection – The information that you provide will be used to fulfil your request. It will not be passed on to a third party unless otherwise stated above.
15. You acknowledge that the Company reserve the right to amend the Rules (including without limitation verbally) or terminate the competition at any time without liability to me.
16. Closing date for audition submission is: Monday 30th October 2023.
