Flemingate’s The Entertainer toy store beat off competition from 127 other Entertainer branches to win The Gary Grant Entertainer Mile Award.
The award recognises exceptional customer services and work in the community and was presented to the team at a gala awards evening by Gary Grant, owner of The Entertainer.
Ranked as one of the Sunday Times Top 100 Companies to work for, The Entertainer employs more than 900 people and donates 10% of its profits to several children’s charities.
Graham Tait, Flemingate Centre Manager, said: “It’s a great accolade for Liam and the team at The Entertainer to receive this award for outstanding customer services and for going the extra mile. It’s their first year of trading at Flemingate and to beat off 127 other branches is a brilliant achievement.”
