Beverleyโ€™s popular Flemingate centre has teamed up with British Heart Foundation to spread the love this weekend and raise much-needed funds for the fight against heart disease.

Visitors to the retail and leisure destination will be able to write a heartfelt message of love and display it in the window of the leading charityโ€™s pop-up shop between 10am and 3pm on Saturday, February 11, and Sunday, February 12.ย  A giant heart-shaped mascot will be on hand over the weekend to spread some romance and raise awareness of the British Heart Foundationโ€™s vital research into cardiovascular disease.

There will also be a giant 8ft heart balloon frame and a mini 3ft heart frame for romantic couples to use to take selfies and share them on social media to celebrate the Valentineโ€™s weekend. Youngsters can also join in the fun and receive a free red balloon.

Graham Tait, Flemingate Centre Manager, said: โ€œWeโ€™re pleased to be teaming up with the British Heart Foundation charity to have some fun on the weekend before Valentineโ€™s Day while also raising funds and awareness for a very worthwhile cause.โ€

The love messages will cost ยฃ1, with business sponsorship packages available from ยฃ10, and all proceeds will support the vital work of the British Heart Foundation.
