Flemingate Makers Market returns to Flemingate on Sunday 22 March with a full year of dates announced
Following a successful debut event in autumn last year, the Flemingate Makers Market is set to return this Sunday, launching a full calendar of markets for the year ahead. The first event of the new programme will take place on Sunday 22 March, from 10am to 4pm at Flemingate Shopping Centre in Beverley.
The market is delivered by Flemingate, in partnership with Little Hummingbird Events, the experienced events company behind the successful relaunch of the Humber Bridge Monthly Market. The partnership combines Flemingate Shopping Centre’s easily accessible location with Little Hummingbird Events’ proven expertise in curating popular, well-attended makers markets.
Visitors to this Sunday’s event can expect a mix of local makers, creatives, food and drink producers, and independent businesses for a day celebrating shopping, creativity and community. 
Phoenix Squad will also be attending on the day between 11am-4pm. The Yorkshire-based, Star Wars Troopers will be posing for photos, interact with the public, and raise money for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice. There will also be buskers entertaining shoppers.
The organisers have confirmed a full year of dates, making the Flemingate Sunday Makers Market a regular fixture in the local events calendar. Further markets are scheduled to take place on 17 May, 16 August, 18 October, 22 November and 13 December, all running from 10am to 4pm. While the line-up of traders will vary across the year, each event will maintain a consistent focus on quality, creativity, and supporting small independent businesses.
