Following the results of the recent Beverley Bolt – Flemingate’s Olympic-themed 100m sprint – we are delighted to show the winners with their victory medals.
The medals were generously donated by independent jeweller, Guest and Philips, and presented to the winning youngsters by Ruth Holland (manager of Guest and Philips, Flemingate), Danny McHale (assistant manager of Guest and Philips) or Georgia Brown (sales assistant at Guest and Philips).
The winners:
Abbie Whiting won the girls under 6s race with a time of 5.75 seconds
Ronnie El- Sharif won the boys under 8s race with a time of 6.8 seconds
Raghav Mittal won the boys under 10s race with a time of 7.63 seconds
Marina Paunova won the girls under 12s race with a time of 10.44 seconds
‘Razza’ Brumpton won the boys under 12s race with a time of 11.68 seconds
The event was such a success that Flemingate now plans to repeat it annually.
