Ambiente Tapas Expands with New Restaurant Opening this December at Flemingate
Award-winning Yorkshire tapas group brings its signature Spanish flavours to Flemingate Shopping Centre.
Ambiente Tapas, the award-winning tapas and sherry bar group with restaurants across Yorkshire, will open a brand-new location in Beverley this December, bringing its signature Spanish hospitality to the Flemingate Shopping Centre.
The new restaurant — the group’s sixth site — continues Ambiente’s established approach to dining: ingredient-led, quality-driven and customer-focused. Seating around 120 guests on a single, fully accessible level, the space will also include a large outdoor terrace for al fresco dining.
Guests can expect the group’s renowned Spanish-inspired menu and drinks list, alongside dishes cooked over a Spanish charcoal oven — a grill capable of reaching temperatures up to 500°C to deliver rich, smoky flavours that can’t be easily replicated at home.
“We’ve spent the last few years consolidating and refining our operation, in a challenging market” said Tim Sinclair, Founder of Ambiente Tapas.
“Now, we’re eager to bring Ambiente’s signature style of hospitality to Beverley. We’re convinced that our combination of thoughtfully curated tapas dishes with quality Spanish wines, delivered by a knowledgeable and friendly team will make Ambiente a welcome addition to the local dining scene.”
The Beverley opening follows Ambiente’s success in the Fruit Market in Hull, York and Leeds, and represents the next chapter in the group’s steady expansion across Yorkshire.
The restaurant is set to open in December 2025, with reservations opening soon.
