Skaters of all ages can strap on wheels to enjoy a pop-up roller rink at Flemingate this half term.

The roller skating rink will be in unit 8b (opposite Sports Direct) at Flemingate from Tuesday 30th May to Saturday 3rd June, with hourly sessions for skaters of all ages and abilities.

While the wearing of leg warmers and eighties-style neon lycra is not compulsory, skaters can have fun on the rink while enjoying time with friends!

An hour of skating, including free skate hire is £6. People can bring their own skates if they prefer. Spectators with ticket holders are free of charge. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied on the rink by an adult, while under 14s must be supervised by an adult at all times (but they don’t have to go on the rink).

The first session every day is for children under the age of 8. Adults can wear flat normal shoes to accompany their little ones on the rink during this slot.

Roller Skates are are available from size 11 infant to size 11 adult (some sizes are limited in quantity) and over shoe skates are available for size infant 5 to infant 11.
