We love a good tasting, especially when there are bubbles involved!🥂

That’s why we’re thrilled to bring our much-loved tasting events to Beverley for the very first time. And we’re kicking things off in sparkling style with Discover Cava.

Elegant, crisp and refreshing, Cava is one of Spain’s most celebrated sparkling wines. It’s created using the same traditional method as Champagne and deeply rooted in the vineyards of Penedès. But today, Cava is doing more than honouring tradition. It’s redefining it.

Our Discover Cava event will showcase one of our much-loved producers; Vilarnau Cava. Known for their beautifully expressive, Organic cavas that capture the character, freshness and finesse of the Penedès terroir, making it the perfect partner to our first Beverley tasting experience.

And for our menu, Executive Chef Johnny, has taken inspiration straight from the heart of Catalonia. A traditional Catalan Codfish Salad, Monkfish Stew and Roast Chicken with Mushroom Ketchup all feature on our menu. And to finish? Catalan’s famous Crema Catalana of course. Alongside this exciting and exclusive menu, you’ll enjoy four sparkling Cavas and one still wine from Vilarnau.

Each course has been thoughtfully designed to complement the delicate bubbles, bright acidity and layered flavours of each cava and it is a true ode to Penedès.

We’re also honoured to be joined for our tasting by a very special guest from the world of Cava: Eva Plazas, Head Winemaker at Vilarnau. Eva is one of the most exciting voices in modern Cava production, bringing a fresh perspective to this historic sparkling wine. She’ll share insights into the vineyards, the craft and the innovation shaping the future of Cava.

Think standout pairings, plenty of fizz, and a relaxed tasting that will let you explore just how versatile and food-friendly this sparkling wine can be.
