Red carpet looks for 2016

The Baftas and Golden Globes have been and gone, and the Oscars ceremony is fast approaching. Red carpet season is in full swing and the fashion pack is keeping a keen eye on what those celebs are wearing.

We’ve loved every moment of the fashion so far, particularly Isla Fisher’s elegant nod to the glamorous heyday of Hollywood, and Bella Thorne shimmering in sequins on the red carpet. Nominees for Actress in a Leading Role this year are Cate Blanchett for Carol, Brie Larson (Room), Joy’s Jennifer Lawrence, Saoirse Ronan for Brooklyn and Charlotte Rampling for her performance in 45 Years, so there’s lots to play for. We’ll be watching closely as they sashay down the red carpet to see what the leading ladies are wearing this year.

Of course, all eyes are on Leonardo di Caprio this year – he might have won the Bafta but it’s all to play for at the Oscars…The Revenant has been nominated in no less than 12 categories, with Leo being shortlisted for Actor in a Leading Role. He’s up against some tough competition – Eddie Redmayne’s Danish Girl, Matt Damon for The Martian, Michael Fassbender’s Steve Jobs  and Bryan Cranston for Trumbo. While Leo’s Oscars journey is far from over, we think he’s a definite winner in black tie!
